My computer is not connecting
There are several reasons your computer might not connect:
- Computer is starting up — After signing in, your computer may take 2–5 minutes to boot. Wait for the loading screen to complete.
- Computer is suspended — If your subscription has expired, go to Billing to reactivate.
- Computer is under maintenance — Occasionally, we perform maintenance upgrades. This usually takes a few minutes.
I see a “Configuration Error” message
This means your OpenClaw configuration file is damaged. To fix it:
- Go to Computer in your dashboard
- Click Restore Config from Backup to restore a working configuration
- If no backup is available, go to Settings and click Reset OpenClaw to reset your configuration
The loading screen is stuck
If the loading screen doesn’t progress after 10 minutes:
- Click Troubleshoot to run diagnostics
- Follow the guidance provided by the diagnostic tool
- If all checks pass but you still can’t connect, open a support ticket from the Troubleshoot dialog
How do I restart my computer?
Go to Settings in your dashboard and click Restart. Your computer will reboot and reconnect automatically within a few minutes.
I lost my data after a reset
If you performed a Reset OpenClaw from Settings, only the OpenClaw configuration was reset — your files and data should be intact. If you’re missing files, open a support ticket and we’ll help investigate.
